Groceries and TO DO Lists
Hi,
today I would like to provide some very usefull links when organizing your weekly meals.
They show groceries list of all kinds like original, vegetarians...
You can just print the list and bring it with you or you can edit and adjust it to your specific needs.
Here is the link for the English version
www.grocerylists.org
Following there are the French and the Italian versions:
www.comment-economiser.fr
ilafabila.blogspot.fr
Obviously after little researching you can find better lists but for me the English one is more than enough.
When I worked in my last office, I used to open the spreadsheet file, thick what I needed and then filter so that I could print only what I had to buy.
As far as the TO DO list is concerned, you can find millions of versions online. The simplest ones are the best.
I write down the things to do and their priority by numbering them.
I used to print ten of them, staples them and have them ready on my desk, now I tape them on the fridge.
One last list since I loooooveeeeeeee them!
Very usefull too if kept handy by the home phone set:
You can make lists and checklists for almost anything and I use them a lot as you can see on the side bar!
I hope this was usefull to you, please let me know if you are a list addict as me and if you have different lists!!!
Bye!!

The beginning of the week!
Hi again!
This first week I decided to focus on organizing my weekly cooking times by planning menus, writing down recipes and making the grocery list in advance so that I can save time.
Tomorrow I'll have two important appointments so I will have no the time for planning.
Preparing meals takes a lot of my thinking and energy and I want to be organized in order to provide my family with good and healthy food.
Today I start with BREAKFAST!
Not only because it is the most important meal of the day and also the first, but mainly because I know exactly what we have everyday, so not a lot of thinking here! :-)
Here you can find our four options:
1. English tea with biscuits or bread, butter and jam
2. milk with cocoa powder, bread and jam (no butter)
3. yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruits, almond and raisins
4. fruits smoothies
The three smoothies we prefer are:
- milk or vanilla yoghurt, banana and strawberries
- milk or vanilla yoghurt, banana and kiwi
- milk or vanilla yoghurt and strawberries
As for the jam, we prefer home-made ones.
My mother-in-law makes delicious jams!
Those that we love the most are rhubarb; banana and rhubarb and strawberries.
Last week I made the rhubarb jam and it is very simple.
1 kilo of rhubarb (you can use the frosted one as weel if it is easier for you)
700 gr of sugar
Put them together in a saucepan and let them rest a whole night. The day after just add some drops of vanilla and let cook gently until the couleur changes to gold.
Let me introduce myself
I decided to start a new blog since I feel the need to record my everyday life and share with you my ideas, tips and tutos on almost everything.
I am Italian, I studied English at the university, then I lived in Dublin for almost 8 years and now I live in France where I met my fantastic husband and had two wanderful daughters!
Since I do know very well the difficulties of learning a foreign language I would love to exchange conversations with those of you who share my values, interests and hobbies and who needs to practice French and Italian.

I have worked for several international companies but at the moment I don't have a job and spend the day looking after my adorable 1-year-old Louna.
So welcome to my life which will change again very soon!!!
